Sono Outi. Sono nata nel 1990 e ho 17 anni. Studio l'italiano da due anni. Ci sono quattro persone nella mia famiglia: mia madre, mio padre, la mia sorellina ed io. Abbiamo anche un cane piccolo. Mio padre si chiama Pertti, mia madre si chiama Helena e la mia sorellina si chiama Eeva. Eeva è nata nel 1993. Abitiamo a Lamminpää che è un posto di Tampere. Quando avevo 8-9 anni la mia famiglia e io abbiamo abitato in Italia a Sirmione. Mi piace molto l'Italia! Quando ho tempo sono con i miei amici e vado in palestra. Mi piace anche fare fotografie.

My name is Janni. My family consists of my father, my mother and my 19-year-old sister. We have a small dog, too, he is very friendly. We live in a house in a suburban area, about 7 km from my school and about 9 km from downtown. I go to school by bus and the trip usually takes 20 minutes, to downtown it takes 25 minutes or so. In my free time I enjoy horse back riding. I have been riding once a week for 6 years already. I like spending time with my dog very much so we started dog agility last summer. I am also planning to go to gym once a week. My whole family speaks English and we have had an Italian girl staying with us for two weeks a couple of years ago.

I am a happy 16-year-old girl from Finland. My name Ilona describes me well, because it denotes happiness. I'm also pretty lively and I like to do different kinds of things including cooking, jogging, hanging out with good friends, surfing in the Internet, reading books & magazines and watching movies. My family has three members: My mother, I and my lovely Shetland sheepdog named Trina. The "little sister" Trina is truly a sweet hound because of her great personality. All of us ladies form a small but tight family unit. We live in a terraced house which is quite big for the three of us, so there's room for one more for sure! Neither my mom nor I speak Italian (Trina talks only dog), but I manage well in English. I won't go to Sardinia this time but I'm excited to have an Italian student to our house.

my name is Ella and I'm seventeen years old. I live in Tampere in Tammela. I have one little brother, Antton and he's 15 years old. Of course I also have a mother and father. We have a couple of pets in our house, two cats, Hilla and Vadelma and one dog, Kake. I spend my sparetime with my friends which we call the TEAM. They are my best friend, Jutta, Ronja, Jenna and Maija. Usually we go shopping or to a café , but on weekends we go to movies or parties with our numerous other friends. I have danced for many years but not anymore, nowadays I just go to gym with my mates.I really like going to school because of my best friends, they make me feel comfortable wherever I go and I always have so much fun with them. I really look forward to meeting you guys here in Finland and I hope that you are waiting for that, too. I'm sure we will do a lot of nice things and you will get to know me and my friends better.

I´m Pille. I was born in 1989 so I am a 17-year-old girl but soon I´ll have my birthday and then I´ll be 18. I´m Estonian but I have lived almost my whole life in Finland.I live in Viinikka, in Tampere. It´s quite near the centre ofTampere, only a few kilometers. And it´s also near to our school Kalevan lukio. I live here together with my mother Ilona. And we don´t have any pets at home. I have also an older sister, she is 23 years old but she lives in her own apartment with her 4-year old child. My dad and other relatives are living in Estonia. When I have free time, I´m with my friends or then I´m just readingor jogging.. and I also love dancing and swimming!

Ciao, my name's Niko and I'm a 16-year-old boy. I live with my mum (Johanna) - so my parents are divorced - in Hervanta. I have also a little sister (Milla), dad (Mika) and two dogs and one lives with us. My folks speak quite good English, but my sister doesn't speak so well. I also speak quite good English, so that wouldn't be a problem. I can also speak a little Spanish and French. I'm a nice, humored, easygoing guy, who likes languages. And I don't have hobbies... I just hang out with my friends, listen to music, watch good shows on TV and spend time with my Pc.I'm allergic to cats and horses, I have no food allergies but I have an asthma.

Hello, I'm Joonas and I'm a 16-year-old boy. I'm in highscool on first grade. I have snowboarding and kiteboarding stuff and I like to go ride with them. I'm not really good at them but you know these are lifestyle sports and it's just nice to chillout on mountain or at sea and I like it. I also like to watch and hear things about some other board sports. After a day at school I usually go out chilling with my friends. I live with my mother, father and two little sisters who are twins and they are 12 year olds. We have also a rabbit. We live in an apartment house and there are four rooms & a kitchen and two toilets. To my host family, I don't really have any big wishes. I like everybody and every place.

Mi chiamo Nica! I am a 16-year-old girl from Tampere. I live in two places, at my mother's and at my father's, which are both situated close to the city centre.We will most likely be staying at my father's house from where we have good bus connections eg. to school. I have a 14-year-old brother called Max and we have also got a little dog. I am not allergic to anything. I got first interested in this project because I love Italy, of course, and because I have always been interested in environmental subjects. I enjoy singing and I am actually taking singing lessons as a part of my education in the Tampere Conservatoire,I also like to take care of my physical fitness, so I work out a few times a week. My name is Jutta and I'm a seventeen-year-old girl from Finland. I live in Tahmela which is near the city centre and the biggest lake in Tampere. In my family I'm the only child and I live with my parents.My hobby is group gymnastic and I have to train five times a week. With my gym friends we also go swimming and to yoga. I also teach young skaters a couple of times a week.In my sparetime I meet friends. Especially my school friends which we call the TEAM. We are together at school but also really much after school and of course during the weekends. We go shopping and to cafés for example and on weekends we go to movies or parties. I love to hang with the team because we always have really much fun together.It's really nice that you are coming here. We will have so much fun. I am also looking forward to my own trip to Sardinia. My name is Minna and I'm a 17-year-old girl and I live in Toijala, which is a small town almost next to Tampere, so I travel to school by bus every day. I live with my parents and I also have two brothers Mikko and Markus. Mikko is 19 years old and Markus is 9. We have also a dog, he's called Dennis. I'm interested for example in architecture, arts, fashion and music. My hobbies are ballet, jogging, painting and drawing, listening to music and sometimes I also play my saxophone. First I could be a little bit shy but when you get to know me, I'm open and communicative. I speak English, Swedish and moderate French and I'm ablaze to learn some Italian.

My name is Heidi and I'm a 16-year-old girl from Tampere Finland. I'm in high school on first grade. I live with my mum, dad and with my little brother. I love animals but we have no animals in my house. My hobbies are making ceramics and playing floor ball. I also like reading, watching TV, swimming and other sports, and spending time with my friends and with my cousins. To my host family: because I love animals (most cats and dogs) it's not a problem if you have animals.
